About CCI

The Douglas County College and Career Institute is a joint venture of the Douglas County School System, Douglas County Chamber of Commerce, and West Georgia Technical College. The goal of the this joint venture is integrate core academics and advanced career/technical education programs thereby encouraging high school students to achieve at a high level and to seamlessly begin to pursue post-secondary studies. 
 
The CCI offers two unique program options, our half day college, career, and technical programs available to all DCSS high school students and a full day Academy high school program open to rising 9th graders. Information Sessions

To get started with registration for one of our college, career, and technical training programs we recommend students and parents attend an Apply to CCI Night. Apply to CCI Night participants are able to see the school, meet program instructors, and get help completing registration paperwork. These come and go events are offered multiple times each school year. Students and parents interested in enrolling at the CCI Academy are encouraged to attend a CCI Academy Information Night. At the CCI Academy Information Night we will discuss the benefits of enrolling in the CCI, if the Academy is the right fit for you and your student, and the application process.
